This contains some of the most professional, least sensationalized interviews available with people who knew and worked with Michael Jackson. The people interviewed are articulate and intelligent and offer specific, knowledgeable and heartfelt insights into how Jackson did what he did. I especially like the interviews with Matt Forger, Smith Wordes and Nick Brandt–all respected professionals in their fields (sound engineer, dancer/choreographer & director, respectively) who worked closely with Jackson. Unfortunately, the soundtrack for this video is almost unbearable. The canned segue music IS unbearable (I use the mute between chapters), and the rest of the soundtrack is just distracting. I don’t need Jackson’s music playing in the background to enjoy the interviews, but using someone else’s music as background was a REALLY bad idea. I’ve written Chrome Dreams and asked them to re-release without the soundtrack; hopefully they will. Maybe others will write, too (email: contactus@chromedreams.co.uk).
