I can’t quite believe that Michael Jackson died today. Like many, I grew up with The Jackson 5, The Jacksons and then Michael on his own. He touched me and countless millions with his breath taking moves and wonderful music. ‘Thriller’ was his most successful album but it is his 1979 album ‘Off The Wall’ which is my favourite. But this song i’ve uploaded brings back such sweet memories for me as a child and it’s the one song I love the most from his early years. The light has gone out here on earth, but it shines brightly now you’re in heaven RIP Michael.

The song contains a fast-paced beat intertwined with Michael’s lyrics about a woman named Annie, who has been attacked in her apartment by a “smooth” assailant. It was released as a single on October 24, 1988 and peaked at 7 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was re-released on April 10, 2006 as a part of the Visionary: The Video Singles box-set. The re-released Visionary single charted at #19 in the UK. In 2003, the song appeared on the Number Ones greatest hits album. “Smooth Criminal” was presented in a ten-minute long clip in which Michael dances through a 1930s-style nightclub (known in the film as “Club 30s”). The version of the song used in the clip is different from the album version: the background beats are different, there are several new lyrics (see below), and the song is much longer overall. The version of the video that is usually aired on network television is 4 minutes long and is merely a sped up version of the clip from the film. Michael briefly moonwalks before the famous anti-gravity lean. The ten minute long “Smooth Criminal” clip is reminiscent of the musical number known as “The Girl Hunt Ballet” which is featured as the final number in the 1952 musical film The Band Wagon starring Fred Astaire and Cyd Charisse. “The Girl Hunt Ballet” is a spoof of Mickey Spillane’s hard-boiled detective novels. “Smooth …

Michael Jackson – Give In To Me – Unreleased Extra Long Version – High Quality
“Give In to Me” is the tenth track on Michael Jackson’s 1991 studio album Dangerous. The single peaked at #1 in New Zealand for 4 consecutive weeks, and at #2 on the UK Singles Chart. It features former Guns N’ Roses lead guitarist Slash. The single was never released in North America or Asia. The single release is notable for its B-sides, which include the album versions of “Dirty Diana” and “Beat It”, two songs which also include guest appearances by rock guitarists (Steve Stevens and Eddie Van Halen, respectively). The music video for “Give In to Me” features Michael Jackson performing the song on stage with former Guns N’ Roses members Slash, Gilby Clarke and Guns N’ Roses touring keyboardist Teddy Andreadis at an indoor rock concert. According to Jackson – when he was interviewed by Oprah – it was shot in just about 2 hours in Germany. The pyrotechnics appearing on the video are computer generated and were added later on.
